In these classes, teens with little or not experience with sewing machines will get full lessons. In these 4 week sessions students will put together a very cute Backpack that each student embellishes to their hearts content, any way they wish! We will be cutting paper patterns, pinning to fabric, cutting fabric then step by step learning to sew the pack together. Students will learn all about the sewing machines, 6 are available to use or they may bring their own, machine safety and function.
These are very fun classes where students laugh and make new friends, plus they are learning a skill to take with them. We meet Fridays for 4 weeks, 4pm-6pm. Call By Design in Alton, 618-433-1400, to register, receive further information and get a supply list.
