The Resale Shop is the longest-running project for NCJW, raising funds for a myriad of services for women, children and families in the community. The Resale Shop, formerly known as the Council Shop opened in 1940, and in 1964, the first Couturier Sale was held to showcase the finest merchandise. The Resale Shop and Couturier have existed in various forms through the decades. Not only does the Resale Shop provide revenue for NCJW, but it also provides ongoing community service by donating vouchers to local agencies. NCJW members volunteer on a regular basis to assist with special events, process donations, and help with day-to-day operations. All donations are tax-deductible and tax receipts are provided. http://www.ncjwstl.org/resale.html
