#Twitter Suspended My Account Within One Day

After Finally Joining #Twitter, My Account Was "Locked" IMMEDIATELY After Sending Only Three (3) Tweets

Thank you, Twitter, for confirming my suspicions and making pretty much everything I have written about become true. Nobody is β€œtargeted” by Twitter, right? I digress. Here’s a little history.

As a Midwest native and Missouri resident now for years, I have become disgusted by the lack of our State’s leadership in regards to the ongoing protests, police shootings, general dischord and more importantly, loss of property values since the Mike Brown (clean, per the DOJ) shooting last August.

After witnessing both the hypocrisy of our elected officials and their lack of ownership for our communities futures, I took to this medium in January with my general thoughts.

On January 12, I penned an article, β€œ#Ferguson: A Reckless, Failed Experiment In Societal Manipulation.” Within, I highlighted, primarily, how people from outside of our communities were turning them upside down by trying to capitalize upon the unfortunate death of Michael Brown and, by their continual attacks on ALL law enforcement officers. Don’t forget, right before that time, two NYPD officers were murdered. Just last week, another one. And, at the time that I am scribing this, two murdered last night in Mississippi.

That article itself went widespread, being included in over 50 Patch publications and β€œtweeted” thousands of times on Twitter. I still contend today that those communities which allow themselves to be dominated and taken over by these rambunctious β€œsocial justice warriors,” will be.

In February, the 20th to be exact, I followed with another titled, β€œWho Ever Said Black Live’s Don’t Matter.” My focus therein was to show that ALL lives matter, because I think they do. At that point, and still very evident today, the #BlackLivesMatter protesters seem to only care about black deaths at the hands of white policemen. Don’t try to deny this; it’s true.

This week I completed my trilogy of sorts on May 8 by authoring, β€œWhy Does Twitter Cater To The #BlackLivesMatter & #Ferguson β€œMovement.” I did this after careful observation, having watched Twitter suspend, remove and shut down not only several accounts that happened to β€œretweet” my articles, but suspend many others. The only group that seems β€œuntouchable” on Twitter besides left-wing Liberals is the #BlackLivesMatter and #Ferguson people. The same who ruined my community and have since taken their circus act to various other cities, including Baltimore.

I decided to β€œput my money where my mouth is,” so to speak, albeit Twitter itself is free. Three days ago I created my first ever Twitter account. I did so using my name, Roger Sherwood (the @username for that was of course taken by another Roger Sherwood) and selected a @username that matches my frustration: @SickOfBLMBS. For those that don’t β€œget it,” it means that I am sick of the #BlackLivesMatter β€œBS.”

I did not β€œfollow” anyone on Twitter. Nor did anyone β€œfollow” me. In fact, I only did one thing – I β€œtweeted” the links for each of my three (3) aforementioned Patch stories via their site-links on my Twitter timeline. That’s it. I was curious who, or how many might read my stories and where applicable, comment.

Guess what? Within ONE day of doing so, Twitter β€œlocked” my account.” Why? Hard to tell. Their email to me (also included here) claims that my account β€œappears to have exhibited automated behavior that violates the Twitter Rules.”

I am confused. I want Mr. Dorsey (@jack) and Mr. Costello (@dickc) to explain when they started locking accounts that tweet links to other news stories? That pretty much means 95% of the 300M Twitter users are due to be locked down too, right? And Twitter has responded by telling me that I MUST provide and give them my cellular telephone number to be β€œunlocked.” That is absurd, right? THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT WHEN SIGNING UP FOR TWITTER THAT ONE MUST PROVIDE A CELLULAR TELEPHONE NUMBER. Personally, in light of all of the other Twitter suspensions as of late, I think they just want to identify me and harass me.

There’s two options here: Expect Twitter to get their shit together, or – just quit using the platform completely.

Me? I’m going with the latter. I’ve heard from other media outlets interested in speaking about and running with my commentary. I think most are tired of the β€œTwitter lies” and propaganda too.
