Yacovelli's Becomes a "St. Louis Orignal"
The popular family-owned Florissant eatery has joined a network of independently owned restaurants in the metropolitan area.

One of Florissant’s staple restaurants has officially been labeled an “original.”
Yacovelli’s has joined the St. Louis Originals, an organization dedicated to independently owned and operated restaurants.
“This is a great tool for independently owned restaurants in competition with franchises,” Jan Yacovelli, co-owner of the restaurant, said.

Yacovelli’s is the second restaurant in Florissant to be recognized as a part of the St. Louis Originals. Deaver’s is also a part of the organization.
As a member of St. Louis Originals, customers are able to take part in the Originals rewards program. The program allows customers to have a free card and accumulate points for every dollar spent at an “Original” restaurant. There are more than three dozen in the area.

“We are excited to add such illustrious names as Yacovelli’s and Sapore to our growing roster of fine local restaurants,” said Bethany Budde, owner of SqWires and president of the Saint Louis Originals. “…Yacovelli’s is a welcome establishment for our card-holders to sample excellent cuisine in Florissant.”
Yacovelli’s has been in Florissant since 1966 and in its current location since 1977. The family-owned establishment continues to produce fulfilling cuisine such as prime rib, steaks, pastas and chicken.
