• Carroll County Memorial Hospital among local facilities joining Show-Me High Value Network (kmzu.com) — Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville has joined a new statewide Show-Me High Value Network, linking 24 independent hospitals to coordinate care and improve quality and affordability. The collaboration aims to share data, streamline care, and enhance value-based services for more than 1.8 million Missourians, including patients who rely on Harrisonville's hospital.
   

• Vehicle catches fire after pursuit (tribuneandtimes.com) — A Cass County Sheriff's pursuit that began near I-49 and Highway 2 in Harrisonville ended northbound by Peculiar, where deputies used a grappler to stop the fleeing car. The vehicle then caught fire but no one was injured, and the suspect is now in Cass County Jail awaiting charges.
