• Late-night crash in Hazelwood leaves motorcyclist from St. Louis dead (stltoday.com) — A motorcyclist from St. Louis died late Sunday after a car allegedly ran a red light at North Lindbergh Boulevard and Elm Grove Avenue in Hazelwood. Hazelwood first responders took the 45-year-old man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, while the 17-year-old driver from St. Louis was uninjured, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
• Hazelwood man charged in St. Francois County death (dailyjournalonline.com) — A 40-year-old Hazelwood man, Albert Levar Walker, has been charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and abandonment of a corpse after a Fairdealing woman's body was found along U.S. 67 in St. Francois County. Missouri State Highway Patrol investigators say evidence placed Walker near where the victim, previously reported missing, was discovered and led prosecutors to file felony charges.
