Armstrong Elementary to Host Earth Day Event

students will celebrate Earth Day by wearing different colored shirts to reflect their dedication to the Earth. Student and staff volunteers will help clean the school grounds. Students will also participate in classroom ideas, such as how much can a classroom recycle. There will also be an Earth Day Challenge encouraging students to be more energy-efficient at home.

Parents are invited out to the school to enjoy the event with their children. The event will occur on Thursday, April 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
