Dr. Scott Endsley Named Vice President for SSM Health Care’s Patient Safety and Quality Center

Dr. Scott Endsley has been named SSM Health Care’s new corporate vice president and chief medical officer for its Patient Safety and Quality Center. SSM’s Patient Safety and Quality Center provides resources and support to all SSM facilities to assist them in achieving their goals of providing exceptional patient care. Endsley began his new position on June 6.

In his new position, Endsley will be responsible for collaborating with leaders throughout the SSM Health Care system to develop and expand strategies for improving patient safety and quality.

Endsley was previously the Director of Innovation and System Design and also Medical Director at the Quality and Patient Safety Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.

“I am excited to come to SSM because I know how committed the organization is to the communities it serves,” said Endsley in a statement. “SSM has a culture of teamwork that recognizes that people of all disciplines play a big role in improving care.”

Endsley received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Illinois, and his Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the University of London.
