Hazelwood City Clerk Colleen Wolf Named 2011 Outstanding City Clerk

Colleen Wolf, Hazelwood's city clerk has earned a lot of recognition in in her 14-year career and can now add one additional prestige-- the Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association's 2011 Outstanding City Clerk Award.

Wolf was acknowledged for the accomplishment at the March 17 city council meeting. Hazelwood Mayor Matthew Robinson and the Hazelwood City Council unanimously approved submitting a nomination application on her behalf.Β 

Wolf was one of eight city clerks nominated for the organization's Outstanding City Clerk Award.

"MoCCFOA is proud to have Colleen as part of our organization," 2010 - 11 MoCCFOA president, Kathie Needham, said in a press release. "Her dedication and involvement in our association is priceless. We're all so very proud of her for her achievement."

At the city council meeting Wolf thanked it along with the City's employees for allowing her to be a member of so many of the organizations in which she participates.

"I think it's important to represent the City and be a part of organizations like this that only benefit in getting the City's name out there," she said.

The MoCCFOA is a professional organization of municipal clerks and finance officers. It assists members with job performance and professional development. Wolf has been a MoCCFOA member for 18 years.
