Jordan Mahood a Hazelwood resident graduated from Kasas-based Benedictine with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education as well as Social Science.
Benedictine College held its annual commencement exercises on May 14, in the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium on the Atchison campus. This year, 330 candidates were honored during the ceremony, including students from throughout the United States and around the world.
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree and delivered the Commencement Address during which he told the students to "major in relationships" from now on.
