Hazelwood School District Staff Donates More Than 2,000 Food Items to the Emergency Assistance Ministry

employees donated more than 2,000 food items to The Emergency Assistance Ministry (TEAM) Food Pantry in Florissant.
TEAM Food Pantry is a volunteer organization that provides supplemental food and basic household items to needy families once a month. Its mission is to serve the poor and hungry in the Florissant and Hazelwood areas. To do this, TEAM relies on contributions from organizations, businesses, churches, schools and individuals.
Recently, TEAM reported it was very low on food supplies. HSD communicated this need to its employees, who brought the items as they arrived at the districtβs annual staff welcome back event at Hazelwood Central High School in early August, according to an HSD statement.
