Hazelwood West High School Student Awarded the Clarence L. Hagemann Scholarships

A student was one of four individuals selected to recieve the Clarence L. Hagemann Scholarship.

Zach Wilsonm along with Kaitlin Brueseke from Drury University, Lori Finklang from Meramec Community College and Laura Rhodes from St. Genevieve High School recieved the $1,200 scholarship.

awarded the four My.Bux members at its Annual Meeting on May 19.

My.Bux consists of Neighbors Credit Union Members between the ages of 13 and 19. Neighbors Credit Union annually awards scholarships in honor of Clarence L. Hagemann, previous chairman of the board, who gave 44 years of volunteer service.

Including the four newest winners, Neighbors has awarded a total of $45,500 in scholarships over the past 20 years, according to a Neighbors Credit Union press release.

“We had a very strong response from our scholarship candidates this year," said John Servos, President of Neighbors Credit Union. "We received 27 entries and the task of judging the essays was very difficult. We admire the hard work of all the applicants and wish them good luck in their future studies.”
