students will perform a version of “I Never Saw Another Butterfly,” a one-act play by Celeste Raspanti tonight and Thursday.
The play celebrates the lives and works of the children of the Terezin “transition” ghetto, a camp in which the Nazis used to temporarily house some “Final Solution” victims during World War II. Leading artists and intellectuals of that time that were Jewish were housed here.
The plays starts at 7 p.m. at Hazelwood West Middle School, 12834 Missouri Bottom Road, Hazelwood, MO 63042, in the school’s library..
