Hazelwood West Middle School to Host Open Houses This Week

is hosting two open houses to allow students and parents to tour the school, visit classrooms and talk to school faculty and staff.

At Hazelwood West Middle, there will be a book fair available for students to check out age-appropriate reading materials or for parents to purchase them as incentives to support the school’s “Rock Star Reading” initiative. Parents and students in all grades may attend a special Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) presentation, starting at 7:30 p.m

As part of the initiative, All middle school students are expected to read for at least 30 minutes each evening.

Open Houses are as follows based on grade levels:

Wednesday, Aug. 31
Sixth-grade only
6 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 1
Seventh and Eighth-grades
6 p.m. - 8:15 p.m
