The St. Louis National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Chapter will be hosting its inaugural Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP) at Harris-Stowe State University this summer from from July 24 - 29.
ACAP is a week-long, all expense paid summer campus residency program where selected high school students will have the opportunity to explore careers in accounting and business via a rigorous class and study schedule that includes college-level content and valuable networking opportunities.
ACAP introduces minority high school students to accounting, finance, economics, technology and management while providing the foundation of financial literacy and the development of interpersonal skills. Its primary objective is to increase the number of high school students from under-represented ethnic groups to attend college and major in accounting.
