HSD Back-to-School Fair is August 4 at St. Louis Mills, free immunizations for District students

What: The , Hazelwood PTA Council and I HEART North County invite students and families to the 6th Annual Back-to-School Fair. The fair takes place during the state of .

The fair is located between and . It includes information booths for 30 school sites, as well as District departments such as transportation, child nutrition services, residency and human resources. HSD student groups will perform music and dance routines throughout the event.

Healthy Kids Express of St. Louis Children’s Hospital will provide free immunizations to District students. Parents need to bring immunization records.

Β The Mills is hosting a No More Bullying event on August 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Guest speakers include Tina Meier of the Megan Meier Foundation and Alex Boles, founder of the Unwritten Letters Project. The event includes an anti-bullying pledge wall, appearances by members of the St. Louis Blues, Radio Disney and Hazelwood Police Department.

The Hazelwood School District serves more than 18,000 students and is the second largest district in St. Louis County. Communities in the district include Hazelwood, Black Jack, Spanish Lake, a large section of Florissant, portions of Bridgeton, Bellefontaine Neighbors and Ferguson, and several square miles of unincorporated St. Louis County.
