INCOME TAX VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The County Older Resident Programs (CORP) needs volunteers for their 2012 Senior Citizen income tax program.  CORP, a division of the Saint Louis County Department of Human Services seeks volunteers, particularly in North County, to assist with a variety of positions, including: 

1) Electronic filing tax assistance at various North County locations  

 2) Quality Review for federal returns at various  North County locations

 3) Appointment scheduling at the North County Government Center in Hazelwood. 

 4) Greeter/Intake assistance at various North County locations            

    Training, held in January 2012, is provided for all positions.  Volunteers begin working the end of January or the first week in February and continue through mid-April.  Interested individuals should contact Ellen Sherman at (314) 615-4559 or esherman@stlouisco.com.
