For many girls living in the , the dream of becoming Miss Hazelwood is ever-present.
Today is the deadline to qualify as a participant for this year's contest. Contestants must be female between the ages of 15 and 19, as well as residents of Hazelwood. A $75 sponsorship fee is required.
A $500 scholarship and other prizes will be awarded to the new queen. Applications and contest rules for Miss Hazelwood are available at either recreation center and or online at the city's website under the “Latest News” section.
