β€œBecause the budget for the state of Missouri currently does not adequately fund vital state services, it is time for the Missouri General Assembly to reform tax credits,” said Rep. Gina Walsh.Β  β€œTax credits lower the tax liability for corporations, and as such reduce the amount of revenue that supports our schools and students.”

β€œI am honored to have the support of the Missouri State Teachers Association,” said Rep. Walsh. β€œIn North St. Louis County, our outstanding educators have helped make Missouri’s public schools the best education for thousands of students.Β  I’m eager to get to the State Senate to fight for the resources that our children and educators needβ€”in North St. Louis County and across the stateβ€”to ensure that every student has a great public school.”
