PlayStation Plus - Sony's Premium PSN service
Free games, discounts, and downloadable content are just some of the things that Sony's premium PSN service PlayStation Plus subscribers can expect.PlayStation Plus-specific games will be downloadable for the entire month and new games will replace them. Once the user downloads the free games, they are available to players as long as they remain PlayStation Plus members. The discounts in the PlayStation store will range from 20% to 50% and users will be able to keep their purchases made with discounts even if they don’t renew a membership.
Sony rolled out PlayStation Plus to Vita owners, so you can also grab gems like Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Gravity Rush on your portable system to go along with all the awesome games on the PS3.Plus costs $18 for three months or $50 for a year, and those with a PS3 Plus membership automatically can use that on Vita, and vice versa. Plus also provides 1GB of cloud storage on PS3 and 1GB of cloud storage on the Vita
Fortunately, for those of you who don't want to splash out on a new controller, it’s not the only new addition to Sony’s premium subscription service this month.
