The retail counters at the Post Office here in will be closed on Memorial Day which is this upcoming Monday, May 30. The good news is that you can try your fate at the automated service centers.
Although there is no automated service center in Hazelwood, neighboring cities including Florissant and Maryland Heights and St. Charles have the Automated Postal Centers (APC).
If you wish to purchase stamps, mail packages, or ship urgent letters or packages on Monday, the APC can be used to do all of that. It is an ATM-like kiosk that accepts credit or debit cards only and can handle about 80 percent of typical postal transactions – like weigh packages and dispense postage for Express, Priority, First-Class and Parcel Post mail.

APCs are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the following post office locations, along with many more throughout Metro St. Louis:
- Florissant – 2200 N. Highway 67
- Maryland Heights – 177 Weldon Pkwy.
- St Charles – 112 S. 5th St.
