The Hazelwood PTA Council is seeking volunteers for the 30th Annual Hazelwood PTA Council Scholarship Run/Walk. The event is Saturday, May 14 at Hazelwood Central High School.
Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of tasks in the weeks leading up to race day. Approximately 140 volunteers are needed to help with organizing T-shirts, race day registration, working water stations on the race course and more.
Volunteers should expect to serve at least three to four hours of their time.

Money raised from the event supports scholarships for graduating Hazelwood School District seniors. The goal for 2011 is to raise $50,000 to provide 100 students with scholarship in the amount of $500. Since 1959, the event has raised more than $2.7 million in scholarships.
