Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouriβs relationship model, known as 4:1+1, engages the most significant adults in a Littleβs lifeβparent, teacher, Big Brother or Big Sister and professional program staff to ensure the Little is surrounded by the people who care about them the most. Each adult has an important relationship and a distinct role that offers Littles encouragement and support. This wouldnβt be possible without their βSixth Membersmβ on the teamβthe donor!
Weβll Be There is the agencyβs promise to Little Brothers and Little Sisters. Bigs in conjunction with the agency do not commit to βfixβ challenges Littles encounter in life, but they do commit to βbe thereββfor encouragement and support.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters invite organizations and businesses to join this commitment to the young people in the St Louis community as a βSixth Membersmβ through the Be Theresm Partnerships.
Be There Partnerships build a relationship between Big Brothers Big SistersΒ of Eastern Missouri and companies or organizations in the community. This relationship is mutuallyΒ beneficialβthe company or organization hosts a promotion or event to support Big Brothers Big Sisters work and the agency works to create positive exposure for the Β company and bring new customers through the doors.
Be There Partnerships can take many different forms.
