Bommarito and Gateway Z Club Car Show Sunday to Benefit Kids With Spinal Muscular Atrophy
All proceeds of the tenth annual event will go to SMA. The event is free and open to the public, and there's still time to register if you'd like to show your car.

in Hazelwood is sponsoring a special car show in partnership with Gateway Z Club on Sunday, Sept. 9 that will benefit Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
βThis fund-raising event (is) for the families and kids of Spinal Muscular Atrophy,β said Tim Davidson, βs communications coordinator, in an email. βThe event is a Z Car Show.β Β

Tami Dunn, president of the Gateway Z Club, said that Charlee Misch, Miss River Cityβs Outstanding Teen, will be meeting and greeting guests at the tenth annual Gateway Z Club car show.
βCharlee is heavily involved in supporting and raising funds and awareness of SMA,β Dunn said. βOur little poster girl Brittany will be selling raffle tickets and SMA items from her wheel chair tooling around the parking lot."

The show is free and open to the public and begins at 10 a.m. at Bommarito Nissan. All proceeds from the event will benefit SMA. Β If it rains on Sunday, the event will be rescheduled for Sept. 16, Dunn said.
Want to Show Your Car?
Itβs not too late to enter a car into the show. You can register the day of the event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Voting will run from noon to 2 p.m., so be sure to register early for maximum votes. Β The first 50 people to register will receive free dash plaques.
There will be six classes with trophies for first, second and third prizes, as follows.
- 1st Gen (240Z, 260Z & 280Z)
- 280ZX
- 300ZX (Z-31)
- 300ZX (Z-32)
- 350Z & 370Z
- Datsun/Nissan/Infiniti non-Z
