The entire family will enjoy a long hayride with a guide providing historic information on this little known area. As the United States’ first military post west of the Mississippi River, Fort Belle Fontaine was the final stop for the Lewis and Clark “Corps of Discovery” expedition and served as the starting point for other explorers.
