St. Louis Diabetes Technology Expo – This free event, open to the public, will provide a look at how new technology is changing diabetes management. Health care professionals and researchers will present information about on-the-market advances in medication, blood glucose monitoring, and nutrition. Also featured will be a product showcase to allow attendees to test the latest products, $10 flu shots and on-site Esse Health professionals to provide mini health screenings.
Featured speakers will include Dr. Kathleen Brunts, MD, chairperson, Esse Health Diabetes Wellness Program; Dr. Eric Armbrecht, PhD, assistant professor, St. Louis University Center for Outcomes Research; Joan McGinnis, RN, MSN, CDE, director of education, St. Louis Diabetes Coalition; and Marjorie Maxwell, RD, CDE, Esse Health.
