Get Out: Celebrate Juneteenth and Show Dad Some Love

When/Where: Friday, June 17 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at  the at the Old Post Office Plaza downtown, 815 Locust St., St Louis, MO, 63101

Why Go: The event will feature live performances, Angel Baked Cookies and Frosty Treats, Inc. ice cream that will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will also be a vendor fair.

Why Go: What fun it can be to splash in the pool with your child and watch a great children's movie simultaneously. Finding Nemo is the featured movie.

When/Where: Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. at  the Buder Center, 900 Hickory St, Saint Louis, MO 63104

Why Go: Juneteenth is the oldest commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States and continues to be celebrated across the nation with family gatherings and community events that emphasize education and achievement. This event will have free music, exhibits and much more.

Why Go: For the first time ever Eckert’s will be hosting DadFest. It is the perfect opportunity to show dad how much you care by taking him to a festival celebrating Fathers everywhere. There will be a tractor ride, beer and wine exhibitions, concert, petting zoo, food stands, BBQ cookoff and much more.

When/Where: 10 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Louis Mills Regal Stadium 18 Cinemas
