Holocaust Museum Film: 'Prisoner of Her Past'
When/ Where: Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. at the Holocaust Museum, 12 Millstone Campus Dr, Saint Louis.
Why go: Chicago Tribune jazz critic, Howard Reich, visits the Eastern European village where his mother, Sonia Reich, grew up and recounts her story. Sonia Reich survived the Holocaust and 60 years later, suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.
