Hazelwood Northwest Middle School Welcomes School Police Officer

Northwest Middle School was the only secondary school in the Hazelwood School District that did not have a school police officer before the untimely Newtown School Shooting in December.

As of the start of the New Year a senior resource officer began having a presence at Hazelwood Northwest Middle School, the only Hazelwood School District middle or high school that did not have a police officer.

Meet Officer Dustin Owen, with the Florissant Police Department. The district welcomed him on Wednesday at Northwest Middle School.
