Patch Picks: 10 Unique and Creative Uses for Bacon
This week we decided to toil with the "other white meat." I'm sure a lot of you have had your fair share of bacon, but at Patch, we like to test the limits. Here are the top ten creative uses for bacon.. I'm warning you-these aren't your normal recipes.
Enjoy these interesting ways to eat your bacon.
1)Β Β Bacon Bowls- These unique βbowlsβ are extremely cute and surprisingly easy to make. Once you see them you immediately want to make one for yourself. Basically you just put aluminum foil over a cup and mold it into cup shape and then put your bacon over that ( in a criss-cross pattern), bake it in the oven, and once itβs done you have a cute little βbacon bowlβ for your salad. Another fun idea I found was bacon cinnamon rolls-just unroll the cinnamon roll and place the bacon slice along-side it and re-roll. Viola-a perfect breakfast treat.
2) Bacon Coffee-Boca Java has an enticing early morning flavor called βMaple Bacon Morningβ which is sure to win over even the pickiest of coffee connoisseurs. Itβs a unique blend of coffee with a twist of bacon. Perfect for your early morning breakfast rush-and itβs only $7.99.
