Patch Picks: Memorial Day Celebrations

This week's Patch Picks column is dedicated to the men and women in the military and the day to honor them--Memorial Day.

For some, Memorial Day marks the start of the pool season. For others it's just another day off from work. But then there are many that remember the true meaning behind Memorial Day.

It's a day to honor those that risk their life each day for American freedom. So no matter what you do this weekend, be sure to call, tweet or post on the wall of someone you know that's out there fighting the good fight.

This week's Patch Picks column is dedicated to them and things to do around town to honor them. From parades to concerts, flea markets to dances, the City of Hazelwood and the surrounding areas have plenty to offer.
