Pedestrian Survives Being Hit By Vehicle in Lindbergh Traffic

officers responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck in the 7300 block of North Lindbergh on Aug. 2.

When they arrived, the pedestrian told police that he ran across Lindbergh and was struck by a northbound vehicle.

Witnesses at the scene of the accident told police that they saw the victim running across the lanes of north and southbound traffic and behing hit by a vehicle. They also said that the victim was not in the crosswalk.

Police report that the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
