Hazelwood and many other St. Louis-area residents have pined for an Ikea store to come to the area for years, and a new rumor of the store coming sparked major attention and chatter.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the store remains a rumor and could still be a few years away. According to the article, the store could go in the Hadley Township area near Interstate 40 and Hanley Road, but the developer is focused on filling up the 62 properties of the area.
