Two Early-Morning Accidents Near Boeing Campus, One Confirmed Dead (FOX 2 VIDEO)

were on the scene of a fatal accident in the 5800 block of Lindbergh for several hours Tuesday morning, Fox2Now reports.
Police arrived on the scene around midnight to find a burning minivan. Firefighters were called in to put out the fire, and the crash shut down McDonnell Boulevard near Fee Fee and Lindbergh.
The driver was found dead inside the vehicle. Police say thereβs no word on what caused the crash, which was the second in the area within a couple of hours. Β A Pontiac also hit a utility pole around 2:30 this morning, and Fox2Now reports that officers are still investigating that crash.

Sam Sanders, a Hazelwood Patch reader, said that the second accident occurred on McDonnell Boulevard just west of Lindbergh.
βThis wreck was one that happened when the driver tried to avoid another fatal wreck in the same area Tuesday morning,β he wrote in an email.
