• Volleyball Recap: Jackson Takes Down Ranked Saxony Lutheran (maxpreps.com) — Jackson's volleyball team continued its dominant season with a 3–0 sweep of ranked Saxony Lutheran, improving to an impressive 21–3 record. After a tight second set, the Fighting Indians closed strong and now turn their focus homeward, hosting Oakville at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Jackson, where local fans can pack the gym and cheer them on.
• William 'Burt' Clifton Jr – Sun Times News Online (suntimesnews.com) — Family and friends in Jackson are among those mourning William "Burt" Clifton Jr., a longtime Crosstown resident and Corps of Engineers retiree who died Sunday at age 96. Services and visitation will be held Thursday and Friday at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, with burial in Crosstown and memorials suggested to a St. Louis children's clinic.
