If you head out before 9:30 p.m., you'll find more than 75 booths, local Latino restaurants, live performances, job opportunities, and even a health zone offering free vaccines, screenings, and resources.
   

2. Kansas City Northland Homicide Trending?!? (tonyskansascity.com) — Residents in Kansas City's Northland are on edge after a Labor Day killing at a QuikTrip and another deadly shooting Sunday in the 11000 block of North McGee, where police detained a person of interest. Local couple grateful for travel insurance after medical emergency on overseas trip (kshb.com) — A Kansas City couple is urging neighbors to buy travel medical insurance after a European vacation turned into an emergency triple-bypass surgery in France, costing about $30,000 upfront.
