• MO: Historic Kirkwood train station to reopen after year of renovations (masstransitmag.com) — Kirkwood's historic train station is reopening next week after a $4.7 million renovation that preserved its 1893 character and added museum-style exhibits on local rail history. The volunteer-run station, now the state's second-busiest, will feature restored platforms, new murals, and modern upgrades, and city leaders hope it becomes a regional tourist draw without using new taxpayer dollars.
