St. Louis, MO – More than 60 Charter employees came together on April 27 and rolled up their sleeves to demonstrate their home repair skills and commitment to the community as part of “Rebuilding Day” – an annual event organized by local nonprofit, Rebuilding Together St. Louis.
In addition to the many Charter employees who volunteered their time, Charter made a $10,000 contribution to Rebuilding Together, as part of the Company’s charitable contributions program.
For the last five years, Charter has pledged its support to Rebuilding Together’s efforts to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the lives of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and people with disabilities.

“Charter and our employees have a long history of supporting organizations that make our communities better places to live,” said Sean O’Donnell, vice president and general manager of Charter’s Missouri-based operations. “Rebuilding Together supports homeowners who are unable to make necessary repairs to their home – and we’re honored to continue our involvement in this community event.”
Neal Gilb, Charter’s manager of government relations in Missouri, organized St. Louis area volunteers for this year’s event. “I am amazed by the generosity of our employees who donated the gracious gift of time,” says Gilb. “When we come together, we put our titles and day jobs aside,” said Gilb. “It’s really an amazing testament to the power a group of committed individuals can have when it comes to making our community a better place.”
