January, February Are for Joining Girl Scouts; Thin Mints Outsold Oreos in 2012

Calling all girls, grades K through 12! Girl Scout cookie fun is here and we want you to join our team!

Did you know girls can join Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri (GSEM) for spring sessions in January and February as well as fall sessions in August and September? There’s no better time to join the Girl Scout movement. GSEM serves more than 50,000 girls. We serve one in four girls in our jurisdiction, compared to the national average of one in 11. More than 18,000 dedicated volunteers support our girl members. Annual Girl Scout dues are $12. New Girl Scout troops are forming in January and February throughout GSEM's council for the 2013 membership year.

Please visit our website, www.girlscoutsem.org to view recruitment nights in your area. This list is updated daily with new locations, dates and opportunities, so check back regularly.
