Kirkwood High School “Call” Web-site Earns All-American from National Scholastic Press Association

The Kirkwood High School on-line edition of The Kirkwood Call, was awarded the National Scholastic Press Association’s (NSPA) highest honor rating of All-American with four “Marks of Distinction” in the NSPA's annual review. 

“The Call” scored 3,600 points and received four out of five Marks of Distinction in the areas of Coverage/Content, Interactivity/Community, Breaking News and Rich Media. Marks of Distinction may be earned in each of the five sections of judging at the discretion of the judge and/or a NSPA official for exemplary work in the category.

Judges comments included, “This is a site with a lot of news and some great journalism on it.  You provided good use of rich media and you took advantage of the interactivity of the medium.”
