
ST. LOUIS – Shen Ni has joined the St. Louis office of HOK as an urban designer. He will be working in HOK’s Planning Group and will serve as a project designer as well as building information modeling (BIM) coordinator.
Prior to joining HOK’s St. Louis office, Ni worked in HOK’s Hong Kong office and at Wheeler Kerns Architects in Chicago, Ill.
“Shen’s talent bolsters our urban design portfolio through his experiences in Asia and his work in Chicago. He has excellent design skills that we will leverage with clients in St. Louis and with our projects throughout the US. Shen will be responsible for interfacing with our architects as we transition our urban design and planning work into actual building design,” said Jeff Davis, vice president, HOK.

Ni earned a bachelor of arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2011.
Ni has been a tutor for the Urban Future, an after-school program for the St. Louis Public Schools. He was recognized in the Nashville Civic Design Center competition in 2012 for redesigning a portion of the Nashville Downtown Riverfront.
