The seniors at St. John Vianney High School continued a tradition that began on Earth Day in 2009 by biking a 3-mile stretch from Ronnie's Plaza along Lindbergh to school during morning commute.
The Annual "Tour De Lindbergh" attracted the attention of morning motorists as well as news crews and a news helicopter on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. About 60 seniors participated in the parade of bikes.
According to Kevin Walsh, who along with Scott Brown rode along with the students, the Tour De Lindbergh is always quite a sight for unassuming drivers. The seniors dress in crazy outfits, to include a banana suit, a Lucky Charms leprechaun, and colorful helmets. A few students joined with inline skates and one rode a mini scooter during the ride.

In 2009 a group of seniors led by James Gladstone and Demarco Moorehead organized the first Tour de Lindbergh to celebrate Earth Day. In what has become a tradition, the senior class gathers at Ronnie's Plaza for the approximately 3 mile ride down Lindbergh Boulevard.
The event gained media attention as the Bommarito Automotive SkyFox helicopter filmed the group of students gathering at Ronnie's for Fox 2 in the Morning. KMOV Channel 4 filmed the group as they made their way up Lindbergh.
