Coldwell Banker Gundaker’s Des Peres-Kirkwood Office 8th Annual Garage Sale Raises $2700 for Ronald McDonald House Charities

St. Louis, MO (September 29, 2016) – Coldwell Banker Gundaker’s Des Peres/Kirkwood office raised $2,700 at its 8th Annual Garage Sale to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis on Saturday, September 24,

The garage sale is unusual in that every item is “free.” The only charge is what a customer would like to offer as a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis. Each year sees the support of many repeat customers and neighbors who arrive in cars, on bikes and with their dogs.

“We were happy to host yet another garage sale of great “finds” to benefit a fantastic cause,” said Al Rosen, branch manager at Coldwell Banker Gundaker’s Des Peres/Kirkwood office and organizer of the event. “It’s an opportunity for us to re-home many items while connecting with our neighbors and making a contribution.”

For 30 years, Coldwell Banker Gundaker and its local offices have been hosting charity events to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. To date, the company has raised more than $2 million for this important cause. Each Ronald McDonald House location serves as a home-away-from-home for families with a seriously-ill child being treated at local hospitals and provides support to organizations that serve the needs of children.
