Coldwell Banker Gundaker's Kirkwood/Webster Office Raises $4,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities® of St. Louis
KIRKWOOD, MO (April 25, 2016) – Coldwell Banker Gundaker’s Kirkwood/Webster office was off to the races on April 8, not just any race…a mouse race. Best of all, they raised $4,000 to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of St. Louis.
The event took place at the Shrewsbury Community Center where mouse race participants placed their $2 bets on the mouse of their choice, similar to a horse race. Plus, the mice were center stage for games of Mouse Roulette. Players purchased playing cards and a mouse was placed in the middle of the roulette table. If the mouse touched the player’s corresponding card, that person won the pot.
“We have so much fun every year at our Mouse Races and are thrilled raise money for such a worthy cause,” said Suzi Mattus, Kirkwood/Webster branch manager. “It’s also a great opportunity for us to come together as a community.”

For 30 years, Coldwell Banker Gundaker and its local offices have been hosting charity events to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. To date, the company has raised more than $2 million for this important cause. Each Ronald McDonald House location serves as a home-away-from-home for families with a seriously-ill child being treated at area hospitals, and provides support to organizations that serve the needs of children. Coldwell Banker Gundaker was recognized for their commitment to their community by being the recipient of the 2013 NRT Humanitarian Award.
