A Shepherd’s Center Program 'Adventures in Learning'

Adventures in Learning classes are offered at the Shepherd's Center of Webster-Kirkwood. Classes are presented at 9:10 a.m., 10:10 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. until noon on Fridays. The cost includes breakfast served at 8:30 a.m.

This session is composed of the following classes:

9:10 a.m.

• "An Epic Voyage" on canoeing from Minnesota to New Orleans presented by the author, Robert P. Meyer.
• Tai chi

10:10 a.m.

• "From Monuments to Early-Modern: 19th Century Sculpture," as Betsy Solomon's art history sampler
• “Pontius Pilate—Actions Have Consequences...some more than others” presented by Scott Yost
• Chair yoga and more
• Watercolors (This is a two-hour session.)

11:10 a.m.

• “A Tiscut a Tasket Come Find Out About My Baskets” with artist Elaine Biastrup, as part of "In the News and More"
• "The legacy we’ve received; what we will pass on," part of licensed clinical social worker Helen C. Gennari's sessions on "gathering" the years of your life
• Line dancing
