Artist William Curtis Gallery Talk

The Kirkwood High School (KHS) Art Department and the Kirkwood Chapter of National Art Honor Society (NAHS) will be hosting the work of artist William Curtis in the John Dean Gallery, located in the south art building of KHS (801 W. Essex).  Curtis will speak with the art students during a gallery talk Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 1:40-2:40 p.m. where students will have the opportunity to meet Curtis.  A meet and greet reception will immediately follow until 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public. 


Curtis, an African American artist, will have his work featured throughout the month of African American History Month. The exhibit will run Jan. 31 through Feb. 28, 2013.
