The Kirkwood Kumon Center, in partnership with Reading Habitat, invites parents and their children ages 3 to10 for a Storybook Adventure that explores stories through dramatic play, games, and a make-and-take craft. A concurrent discussion offers tips for parents on making reading a creative adventure for the entire family. Reading Habitat also brings a traveling store filled with children’s books, furniture for creating inviting home reading environments—and the introduction of a new line of “bookish” apparel for babies to adults.
