John Seager, CEO of Population Connection (formerly Zero Population Growth) to Speak at Webster University on the Rise in Human Population

John Seager, from Population Connection, (formerly Zero Population Growth- ZPG) will speak at Webster University on the rise in Human Population (a milestone of seven billion humans has been reached) and the significant changes that must be addressed, as the numbers and population dynamics, paradoxically, appear. Included in this address are Human Rights, Women’s Reproductive Rights, poverty, environmental and resource concerns. The talk will be held on Wed., Feb 1 at 7 p.m. in Moore Auditorium, 470 E. Lockwood Ave. and is free and open to the public. A Q & A session will follow. Parking is available on the street, across the street at Eden Seminary and visitors spots throughout the Webster Campus. John Seager is currently the President and CEO of Population Connection, formerly known as Zero Population Growth. Prior to this position he was  with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and also served as Chief of Staff, Communications Director and District Director for U.S. Representative Peter H. Kostmayer. He holds a BA in Political Science from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Mr. Seager was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 2005.
