Kirkwood Senior Living Community Celebrates Local Senior Artists with Exhibit and Reception

Aberdeen Heights senior living community is celebrating local senior artists with Art is Ageless, a program that reaffirms the agelessness of human creativity through art. The public is invited to attend the free exhibit and a reception to honor the artists. Studies show seniors who are involved in the arts report better health, have more positive attitudes and are more active than those who are not. The Art is Ageless exhibit will feature works from local artists who are 65 and older, including a few Aberdeen Heights residents. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, at Aberdeen Heights, 505 Couch Avenue in Kirkwood. The free exhibit runs from Tuesday, April 9, to Friday, April 19.
