This four-part series examines families in the Bible, exploring what everyday life would have been like in the biblical world, how ancient families differed from the way we experience family relationships in our lives, and what we can learn from these differences for our understanding of the Bible and the life of the church. This will include the topics of labor in the family, laws regulating families, and Biblical family values, and their relevance to us as Christians today.
Our guest speaker for this series will be the Rev. Dr. Laurel Koepf-Taylor, Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Eden Theological Seminary. Come meet one of Eden’s newest faculty members and learn more about Biblical families.
